We value your trust and support during this national shortage. Our team is committed to providing the best care possible for your pets. We will continue working diligently to improve appointment availability.
Please be aware that we have also created a Zero Tolerance Policy that is as follows:
Every hospital staff member has the right to perform their duties in an environment free of threats, assaults, and verbal abuse. We are committed to supporting a culture of respect and well-being for our employees by ensuring they have a safe and respectful working environment. To foster this, Avon Animal Hospital has, like many other hospitals, instilled a Zero Tolerance Policy for abusive behavior towards our staff. Such behavior can be in any form (over the phone, email or in person) and may include the following:
- Profanity, degrading comments, insults, vulgar is sexist language, racial/religious slurs.
- Yelling
- Bullying Behavior
- Intimidation, as well as acts of violence or threats
Should any of the staff members experience such behavior, clients will be asked to leave the premises and will not be able to return to the facility in the future.
